Information from the publicly available online database maintained by Lloyd’s MIU shows 11 port visits by two NEAFC/NAFO IUU-listed reefers, the Cliff and the Cefey (see Vessel Profiles) and the ICCAT IUU-listed fishing vessel Daniaa, to the port of Tema in Ghana. The visits took place in 2006 to 2009. According to the database, the last recorded visit of the Cliff to the port of Tema, in October 2007, resulted in the vessel being detained. In regards to the rest of the port visits, nine are considered to be non-violations whereas one is considered as violation of ICCAT port State measures. Ghana is a member to ICCAT.
