Information from the publicly available online databases maintained by Lloyd’s MIU and the Norwegian Royal Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs shows eight port visits by six IUU-listed vessels to five ports in Norway (Kristiansund, Kirkenes, Borg Hbr, Vadsö and Alesund). The six vessels, one reefer and five fishing vessels were all on the NEAFC IUU vessel list at the time of the port visits. The Nicolai Chudovorets has remained in the port of Kristiansund since 2006, as port services have been denied. The Nemanskiy was detained during its last visit in January 2008 in Vadsö and will be scrapped. All reported port visits took place between February 2006 and January 2008. Three port visits were followed with port State actions, four are considered as potential violations of NEAFC port State measures and one visit is considered as a non-violation. Norway is a CP to CCAMLR, ICCAT, NEAFC, NAFO and SEAFO.
