Information from the publicly available online database maintained by Lloyd’s MIU shows 20 port visits by 10 IUU-listed vessels to three Russian ports (Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg and Vladivostok). Nine vessels were on the NEAFC IUU vessel list at the time of the visits and one reefer, the Seed Leaf, was on the CCAMLR/SEAFO IUU vessel list. The port visits took place between October 2004 and December 2007. Two visits are considered as violations of NEAFC port State measures, one as violation of CCAMLR measures, while the remaining 17 the port visits are considered as potential violations of NEAFC. Russia is a CP to CCAMLR, NEAFC, NAFO and ICCAT.
